What the public tools receive
Coupon searches use a retailer name, storefront domain, code or broad shopping category. Offer details use an offer ID. Basket comparisons use a retailer, subtotal, currency, country and any shipping or eligibility facts you choose to provide, such as whether it is a first order. We use those inputs to retrieve stored offers, explain restrictions and calculate a response.
The public connection does not require a CouponX account, access your merchant account, place orders or request payment-card details. It does not need your entire chat history. Do not put passwords, payment information, health records or identity documents into coupon-search or support requests.
Storage and retention
The CouponX application does not save your basket or create a shopper profile. Shopping inputs are processed to answer the request rather than stored as an application history. This is separate from operational logs retained by our hosting providers and the conversation history handled by ChatGPT.
Saved offer IDs remain in this browser’s local storage until you remove them in the site or clear this site’s browser storage. They are not synced to a CouponX account. Animation behavior follows your device’s reduced-motion setting; the removed animation control no longer stores a preference.
Abuse-prevention records contain hashed, short-lived request identifiers and counters. Raw account IDs and IP addresses are not stored in that rate-limit table. Counters expire after two minutes and expired rows are removed in bounded cleanup batches.
If you email support, we use your email address and message to handle the request. Support correspondence is kept while needed to resolve the request and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete it; we will explain if some information must be retained.
Service providers and recipients
The public website and read-only MCP endpoint run on Vercel. The inventory and owner Studio run on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Requests needed to retrieve offers and compare baskets pass through these providers. They may process request metadata, including network identifiers, and retain operational or security logs according to their service settings and policies. CouponX does not set a separate fixed retention period for those provider-controlled logs in this notice.
ChatGPT processes your conversation and tool use under OpenAI’s applicable terms and privacy settings. Support messages are processed through our business email services. Service providers may process information outside your country.
Merchant and affiliate links
Opening a source or shopping link takes you to a separate retailer website. The retailer handles any merchant account, purchase, payment, delivery, return and its own tracking under its policies.
CouponX’s intended business model includes affiliate commissions, but no affiliate programs or tracking links are active in this release. Current source links go directly to official retailer pages. If affiliate links are introduced, they will be identified and this notice will be updated to describe the relevant tracking and recipients. This release does not add advertising pixels or third-party analytics.
Owner administration and earlier feedback
The owner Studio uses ChatGPT sign-in and a server-side admin allowlist. This does not make sign-in necessary for public coupon discovery. The earlier authenticated connection can store voluntarily submitted coupon outcomes, including the offer ID, outcome, request ID, inventory mode and timestamp. The public connection does not accept those reports. Contact us about any earlier information you submitted; it is not automatically deleted by clearing browser bookmarks.
Your choices and requests
You can use the public tools without a CouponX account, provide only the basket facts you want to share, clear local bookmarks and stop using or disconnect the plugin. To request access, correction or deletion of information held by CouponX, contact team@couponx.coupons. Include only enough detail to identify your request. We may need to confirm which records belong to you. Rights and retention exceptions depend on applicable law; ChatGPT, retailer and provider records may need to be managed with the relevant service.
Changes to this notice
We will publish material changes here and update the date above. Adding affiliate tracking or other new data uses requires the notice to describe those practices before they are introduced.
